We got a call from Mr. Ansari, CEO of Dorrab Music Products, to design a minimalistic and clean visual identity for their brand. Dorrab provides various instruments pieces, starting with traditional Persian music instruments. These kind of products are available at the market with various trade marks, but there were no obvious "brands" out there. We caught this opportunity to develop a sustainable, fresh and minimalistic brand identity which could carry some Persian accent within. We started with the logo. The logo took its form and concept from the "Dorrab" itself. Dorrab, is a technique in playing traditional Persian music, and has its own symbol (as shown below). Patterns with a Persian accent, developed from the logo and we designed a set of linear icons for each instrument.
